Caloundra Cruise
Caloundra Cruise is one of the most popular activities and attractions on the waterways, suitable and enjoyed by all ages. Experience pristine sand cays, abundant bird life and discover Caloundra's rich sea faring history. The most popular cruise runs Sunday to Friday when you can discover the spectacular beauty, history, wildlife, and superb views from Caloundra Heads to Moreton Island, Bribie Island National Park and the “Blue Hole”, all from a specially designed ferry. The smooth water of the Channel ensures a pleasant trip for all.
The lunchtime cruise includes a break for lunch at Pelican Waters Tavern where you can take advantage of the specially priced “cruise boat menu”. Enjoy the Eco Explorer cruise every Thursday which takes you to the very heart of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park. Their experienced guide will cover the fascinating history, geography and ecology of this pristine region. Enjoy morning tea at anchor while you observe the native flora and fauna and hear dreamtime legends.
Then, cruising north for some great bird watching opportunities, you'll return in time for lunch. Kids can look forward to the Pirate Cruise activity on a Tuesday during the holidays, including raiding the treasure chest at the end!
