A. If you visit ourbrisbane.com movie guide on a Wednesday morning, you might only see listings for that day. If you visit ourbrisbane.com movie guide on a Thursday morning, however, you will typically see all sessions for the coming week. This is because most cinemas program their schedules for Thursday to Wednesday and supply them late Wednesday.
Q. Why wasn't the movie on when and where you said?
A. We rely on the information provided by cinemas about which movies are screening when and where. While larger chains often provide their details from their head office, smaller cinemas tend to update us themselves. In both cases, information is usually provided according to the Thursday to Wednesday programming format favoured by most Australian cinemas. Cinemas can, will and do make late programming changes to their schedules for a number of reasons, and when they advise us of these changes, the information can be used to update the movie guide display.
